Whole-coconut thinking
Sustainability through better value creation.
KOHIZ’s long-term coconut strategy is designed around using more of each coconut, creating multiple product streams and reducing avoidable waste as operations develop.
Our Direction
Use more. Waste less. Build responsibly.
The sustainability approach is currently a business-development objective rather than a certification claim. Future sourcing, manufacturing, packaging and export practices will be documented as facilities and supplier relationships are finalized.
The integrated model considers four main value streams: kernel, water, husk and shell.
Future priorities
What KOHIZ intends to measure.
As manufacturing develops, the aim is to make sustainability measurable rather than promotional.
Material utilisation
Track how much of the coconut is converted into useful products and co-products.
Water & energy
Measure resource intensity and evaluate practical efficiency improvements.
Packaging
Evaluate recyclable, lower-impact and export-suitable packaging options.
